A fantastic opportunity is now available for a Payroll Officer to become part of their supportive Finance team. Working closely with the Human Resource Manager, you'll be responsible for:

Managing end-to-end payroll processing on fortnightly and monthly cycles, ensuring accuracy across multiple business units

Overseeing employee data management from onboarding through to offboarding, maintaining system accuracy at all times

Processing overtime payments, allowances, incentive payments, and salary packaging arrangements

Preparing payroll reconciliations and reports, including superannuation and tax compliance documentation

Providing front-line support to employees on payroll matters, resolving queries with professionalism and care

Maintaining compliance with applicable Modern Awards, Enterprise Agreements, and employment law requirements

Assisting with annual compliance processes such as PAYG summaries, FBT returns, and audit preparations

Participating in system enhancements and identifying opportunities to streamline payroll operations

You'll have 3-4 years of solid payroll experience within a comparable organisation. A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field is essential. You bring strong working knowledge of Australian payroll regulations, are comfortable navigating payroll platforms, and pride yourself on accuracy. Your communication skills enable you to build rapport easily across the business.
