The Role

We’re seeking a highly skilled Rehabilitation Consultant (Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, or Exercise Physiologist) to join our team on a contractor basis. You’ll use your clinical and consulting expertise to support clients through workplace rehabilitation, functional assessments, and tailored recovery plans.

This is a flexible, independent role, ideal for an experienced rehabilitation professional who enjoys autonomy, client connection, and the opportunity to shape quality systems.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct functional capacity evaluations, workplace assessments, and rehabilitation program reviews

Develop evidence-based rehabilitation plans and return-to-work recommendations

Liaise with insurers, employers, and healthcare professionals to coordinate services

Create, refine, and implement rehabilitation templates and documentation to improve consistency and quality across services

Contribute to continuous improvement of rehabilitation consulting practices

About You

You’re an experienced clinician who thrives in a professional, self-managed environment. You’re confident in both report writing and relationship building, and you’re motivated by measurable outcomes for your clients.

Essential Criteria

Degree-qualified Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, or Exercise Physiologist

Current AHPRA or ESSA registration

Minimum 3 years’ experience in rehabilitation consulting or occupational rehabilitation

Demonstrated ability to manage a varied caseload independently

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

ABN and professional indemnity insurance

Highly Regarded

Previous experience creating and implementing templates for rehabilitation consulting (e.g. assessment, goal setting, reporting)

Familiarity with NDIS, insurance, or workers’ compensation frameworks
