THE ROLE

An exciting opportunity exists to lead TreeServe’s Victorian cyclic pruning and Electric Line Clearing operations. We are seeking a passionate, detail oriented and results driven Operations Manager to join our team. Successful delivery of the role will be met with recognition and performance incentives.

Responsible for operational excellence, you will manage the operations team to deliver on time cyclic tree inspection and maintenance programs that focus on quality, compliance and productivity to customers across the eastern and northern suburbs of Melbourne.

Our Ideal candidate:

Strong leadership skills; with experience supervising / directing teams

Good planning, prioritisation, time management and problem-solving skills.

Positive, engaging clear and effective communicator - written and oral.

Experience and/or desire to lead and implement change.

Understands balance of customer service and commercial outcomes.

Sense of urgency, ability to work with detail and time-sensitive issues.

Ability to manage and make decisions under pressure.

Proficiency with computers and adaptive to new digital technologies.

This role can be learned. Behaviours and attitude will define the success of this role rather than experience in a similar role and/or the vegetation management industry.

Good to Have:

Formal qualification in Arboriculture, training can be provided for the right candidate

Experience working with Local Governments, Utilities and/or Rail Operators

Formal qualifications in business or management
