About the Role
We’re seeking a dynamic Capital Portfolio Coordinator to join our Asset Lifecycle team. Reporting to the General Manager Asset Lifecycle, this pivotal role will drive quality outcomes by aligning our Enterprise Investment Framework with project and program outputs, supporting the development and delivery of Coliban Water’s Capital Investment Plan.
You’ll work closely with program and project managers, finance, and enterprise investment teams to monitor performance, identify improvements, and support change initiatives that enhance our infrastructure planning and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support a multidisciplinary team in delivering a portfolio of water infrastructure projects.
- Lead project prioritisation and risk workshops to shape long-term capital investment planning.
- Develop and manage a comprehensive pipeline of projects aligned with strategic objectives.
- Prepare and present reports, insights, and submissions to internal and external stakeholders.
- Embed capital project development processes into existing frameworks for future pricing submissions.
- Promote asset management value through strong stakeholder engagement.
About you
- Tertiary qualifications in business, commerce, engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in capital planning, project management, and investment planning.
- Strong analytical, financial, and business acumen.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, influence, and collaborate across diverse teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Familiarity with portfolio and program management methodologies (e.g. MoP, MSP, PMBOK, PRINCE2).

Salary:
The salary and conditions for this position will be as per the Coliban Water Enterprise Agreement 2021 Band 4 $93,548 - $106,446 + superannuation salary range will be offered to the successful candidate commensurate with their skills and experience.

Coliban Water was established on July 1, 1992 under the Water Act 1989 as a Regional Urban Water Authority.
Coliban Region Water Authority became the Coliban Region Water Corporation on July 1, 2007.
The Corporation is responsible to the Minister for Water, the Hon Lisa Neville MP, and our shareholder is the Victorian Government.
We are one of the larger Victorian Regional urban water corporations.
We manage, maintain and operate 35 reservoirs and water storage basins across North-Central Victoria and provide water and wastewater services to rural and urban customers across an area of 16,550 sqkm.
Our service region includes 49 towns, extending from Cohuna and Echuca in the north to Kyneton and Trentham in the south.
The western boundary incorporates Boort, Wedderburn, Bealiba and Dunolly and the eastern boundary includes Heathcote and Tooborac.
