The role will:

The Community Development Coordinator oversees the delivery of high-quality, customer-focused Community Development programs. This role involves providing strategic advice to the Manager – Community & Culture, leading a dedicated Community Development team, and driving service improvements.

Our ideal candidate:

Demonstrated ability and understanding in the successful operation and delivery of Community Development in small community-based organisations.

Sound resource management and management experience with a diversified team with competing outcomes.

Excellent understanding of contemporary Community Development principles

An understanding of and the ability to plan and implement strategies within the Community Development team portfolios that support and achieve the overall goals, practices and policies of Strathbogie Shire Council
