About the Role

Reporting directly to the Managing Directors, the Operations Manager will take ownership of day-to-day operational management, staff leadership, and process improvement. This pivotal position will ensure alignment between logistics, office administration, procurement, and warehouse functions—enabling the Directors to focus on strategic and commercial priorities.

The role will lead both the Logistics Manager and Office Manager, ensuring visibility, accountability, and collaboration across all business areas. You’ll also be responsible for coordinating incoming shipments, supporting supplier and warehouse relationships, and maintaining high operational standards across the board.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support the Logistics Manager and Office Manager to deliver seamless operations.
• Oversee import logistics, office processes, and administrative workflows.
• Coordinate with Procurement and Sales to align shipment timing and forecasts.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping agents, and suppliers to manage vessel arrivals.
• Monitor warehouse operations, drive quality control improvements, and resolve product issues.
• Track operational costs and identify efficiency opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with WHS, import, and risk management requirements.
• Support the Directors with project coordination, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.

About You

• Proven experience in operations management, ideally within logistics or supply chain.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage cross-functional teams.
• Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Highly organised, proactive, and adept at balancing strategic oversight with hands-on delivery.
• Committed to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
