Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Senior Financial & Tax Accountant will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of financial results and compliance across all tax obligations, while supporting broader finance initiatives and projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review corporate tax returns, BAS, FBT, payroll tax, and income tax lodgements

Support tax effect accounting and year-end tax provisions

Partner with external advisors on audits, reviews, and tax-related projects

Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and ensure compliance with financial controls

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis

Identify process improvements and support ongoing finance initiatives

You’ll be CA/CPA qualified with strong experience across both financial and tax accounting. Ideally, you started your career in a chartered environment before moving into industry. You will have the ability to work autonomously, have a can-do attitude, be highly organised with great attention to detail, and have excellent communication skills.
