The Company:

Mars Recruitment has partnered with a privately owned mining services group that needs an experienced Management Accountant to step in for a 12-week project.

You'll be helping the Group Financial Controller bring the next budget cycle to life and tighten up processes across several divisions.

This is a hands-on role that suits someone who enjoys getting into the detail but can also stand back and see the bigger picture.

The Role:

• Build fresh budgeting and forecasting templates to support decision-making across multiple business units.
• Work directly with department managers to design clear, easy-to-maintain financial models.
• Pull together monthly management accounts and help explain results with meaningful insights.
• Look for smarter ways to manage reporting and streamline manual tasks.
• Assist with cash flow forecasts, cost analysis, and performance reporting as needed.
• Partner with senior leaders to turn financial data into actionable information.

The Requirements:

• CA, CPA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
• Demonstrated experience building budgets and models from the ground up
• Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail
• Background in mining, resources, or contracting will be viewed favourably but not essential.
