ABOUT THE ROLE

NTHA are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Inventory Shift Supervisor to join our client’s warehouse team in Darra, QLD.

This hands-on leadership role runs the afternoon shift (2:00pm–10:00pm) and focuses on supervising receiving and put-away operations, ensuring stock is accurately processed and safely stored. You’ll oversee two forklift drivers and play a key role in the success of the warehouse operations.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and supervise two forklift drivers on the afternoon shift
• Oversee receiving, unloading containers, processing returns & put-away
• Ensure trucks are loaded/unloaded safely and efficiently
• Monitor shift workflow to meet operational targets
• Support morning shift operations when needed
• Assist Inventory Controller with investigations and stock accuracy
• Maintain communication with Inventory Controller & Warehouse Manager
• Ensure all WHS and warehouse procedures are followed

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE

• Proven experience leading a warehouse or logistics team
• Valid forklift licence and strong forklift skills
• Strong communication and leadership qualities
• Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Sound knowledge of WHS practices
• Timber industry experience (highly regarded but not essential)

Hours: Full-time | 2:00pm – 10:00pm | Flexibility required when needed
