About the role

Southern Refrigerated Transport is seeking experienced MC / HC Transport Drivers to join our growing team in Strathmerton, Victoria. As an MC / HC Transport Driver, you will play a crucial role in the safe and efficient delivery of goods across Victoria and interstate. This is a full-time position with competitive remuneration and excellent benefits.

What you'll be doing

Safely operate Multi combination and heavy combination vehicles to transport goods

Adhere to all relevant road rules, safety regulations and company policies

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle roadworthiness

Maintain accurate logbooks and other documentation as required

Assist with loading and unloading goods at pick-up and delivery locations

Provide excellent customer service and liaise with clients as needed

Contribute to the continuous improvement of our transport operations

What we're looking for

Current MC or HC driver's licence

Minimum 2 years' experience operating multi and heavy combination vehicles

Strong knowledge of road rules, safety regulations and best practices

Excellent driving skills and a commitment to safe driving

Good communication and customer service skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Willingness to work a rotating shift pattern including weekends
