About the Role

ALPHA 4x4 is seeking an experienced Importing and Sourcing Coordinator to join our fast-growing team in Malaga, WA. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for managing the company's import and sourcing processes, ensuring efficient and cost-effective procurement of materials and products.

What You'll Be Doing

Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiating favourable terms and conditions for the procurement of goods and materials

Coordinate the import process, including liaising with freight forwarders, customs brokers and other relevant parties to ensure timely and compliant delivery of imported goods

Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, monitoring stock levels and placing orders to meet production and sales demands

Analyse market trends and opportunities to identify new sourcing options and drive continuous improvement in the company's procurement practices

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align purchasing activities with overall business objectives

Prepare and present detailed reports on procurement activities, costs and performance

What We're Looking For

Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar importing and sourcing role, preferably within the manufacturing, transport or logistics industries

Strong understanding of international automotive trade regulations, customs procedures and import documentation requirements

Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills, with the ability to build and maintain productive relationships

Proficient in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams

Relevant tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field is highly desirable

High proficiency in Mandarin language required.

Must hold a valid Australian work visa or permanent residency status
