Job Title: Payroll Compliance Lead
Location: Melbourne CBD - Hybrid (1-3 days in office)
Salary: $80 - $95 per hour + super
Contract length: 6-months
ASAP start

About the Role:

Reporting to the Head of Payroll, this newly created, 6-month contract role is critical in supporting the payroll team's compliance framework. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance requirements are met using the ADP system, conducting detailed reporting and analysis, and driving process improvements. This position requires an ASAP start and offers a flexible hybrid work model.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting analysis and writing reports within the ADP system to identify compliance issues and create exception reporting.
• Working with senior stakeholders in regards to payroll reporting.
• Identifying and assisting in the correction of compliance issues, including STP reporting and year-end processes.
• Assisting in the build and development of efficiencies within the payroll system to minimise risk (e.g., overpayments).
• Creating and maintaining trackers for the team using intermediate Excel skills.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Mandatory expertise in ADP systems, specifically the ability to understand the data, find fields, and write reports.
• Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, pivot tables).
• Proven experience in a senior payroll role with a strong focus on compliance.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Experience in high-volume and complex payroll environments (multiple awards/EAs).
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal instruction.
