The Access Group Recruitment are the go-to agency for our clients and payroll professionals looking for their next contract or permanent position.

Our client is seeking a temporary contracted Payroll resource for a standalone payroll position in Lilydale work part time hours 2 - 3 days per week. You will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processes. You'll ensure compliance with regional legislation, maintain accurate records, and provide exceptional support to employees regarding payroll queries.

Key Responsibilities

• Process fortnightly and monthly end-to-end payroll
• Ensure compliance with employment laws, tax regulations, and company policies
• Maintain up-to-date employee records, including deductions, and benefits
• Respond promptly to employee leave and payroll queries and provide clear explanations when needed
• Perform payroll end-of-financial year function, carry out ad hoc reporting requests and assist with audits as required
• Collaborate with HR to ensure seamless integration of payroll data

Key Requirements

• Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, tax requirements, and compliance standards
• Proficiency in payroll systems, experience with Access MicrOpay is advantageous.
• Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly
