Are you a creative and results-driven Social Media Manager and Content Creator with a passion for digital marketing? We’re looking for a talented individual to lead content creation, manage social media and website updates, and drive strategic engagement across four dynamic brands. If you have a keen eye for design, strong photo and video editing skills, and a deep understanding of social media trends, this role is for you!
About the Role:
As our Social Media and Content Manager, you will be responsible for crafting compelling content, managing multiple social media accounts, and driving engagement across various platforms. You will work closely with our marketing manager and other members of the organisation to ensure each brand’s voice and identity are effectively communicated.
Key Responsibilities:
Liaise with designated people across our various brands to collect, manage, and prepare digital material.
Develop and execute social media strategies for four brands across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube.
Create high-quality photo and video content, including editing for posts, stories, ads and website content.
Take on-site photos and videos around suburban Melbourne. Edit them for social media and marketing purposes.
Plan and schedule engaging content that aligns with brand goals and marketing campaigns.
Monitor analytics and performance metrics, adjusting strategies for optimal engagement and reach.
Engage with the online community by responding to comments, messages, and customer inquiries.
Respond to all Google reviews to maintain a positive brand reputation.
Stay up to date with social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure maximum brand visibility.
Collaborate with internal teams to align content with broader marketing initiatives.
Assist in the transition of multiple website upgrades including content migration.
Liaise with our digital marketing agency to provide them with content for online advertising initiatives as required.
Skills & Experience:
Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or in a similar digital marketing role.
Strong photo and video editing skills using tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Canva, or similar.
Excellent understanding of social media platforms.
Ability to manage multiple brands while maintaining a unique voice for each.
Good copywriting skills with a flair for engaging and persuasive content.
Experience with social media advertising and analytics tools.
Ability to update website content as required through a CMS (training provided).
Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
The ability to work with other people.
A valid Driver’s License and car is required, as regular weekly onsite photos and videos will need to be taken. An appropriate car allowance will be provided.
Some print design and production experience would be a bonus.
