About the Role

We are currently seeking experienced Production Operators with a background in:

Compressing (tablet and hard-shell capsule production)

Dispensing, Granulation and Mixing process

Coating

Softgel

Liquids, Powders and Bottles

In this hands-on role, you will work in a fast-paced cleanroom environment, operating equipment and performing quality checks to ensure consistent, high-quality output.

We have roles available on either Day Shift (7am - 3:10pm) or Afternoon Shift (3pm – 11:10pm). Please indicate your preferred shift in your cover letter.

Responsibilities

Operate machinery and production equipment following SOPs

Operate and complete electronic batch records using the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) program

Dismantle, clean and set up machinery and equipment

Conduct in-process quality checks and maintain accurate documentation

Perform equipment setup, calibration, and cleaning

Maintain GMP compliance and contribute to continuous improvement

Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and support the team during changeovers

Maintain a clean and safe work environment

What we’re looking for

Experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical/FMCG/Manufacturing industry

Good computer skills to complete electronic batch cards

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Reliable, motivated, and able to work both independently and in a team

Good communication and basic numeracy/literacy skills

Positive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced, regulated setting

Comfortable working in environments where dust may be present (relevant to certain roles)

Physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting materials as required

The permanent hourly rates for this role range from $26.46 - $31.08, depending on your skills and experience (Level 1 to Level 1C as per the Employee Collective Agreement). Additional shift allowances apply for afternoon and night shifts.
