The Company
We’re partnering with an established organisation within the education sector that is currently expanding its Service Desk team. Due to exciting projects and growing client demand, they’re now seeking a Level 1 Support Engineer to join their team.

The Role
As a Level 1 Support Engineer, you’ll provide both remote and onsite IT support to schools across Perth. You’ll play a key role in delivering technical assistance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing IT solutions. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on problem solving and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for IT support requests via phone, email, and ticketing system
- Diagnose and resolve common technical issues such as password resets, software installations, printer connectivity, and email configuration
- Escalate complex issues to Level 2 support with clear documentation
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all support interactions in the ticketing system
What You’ll Need
- Certificate IV or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred)
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a helpdesk or IT support role
- Current driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Understanding of basic networking principles
- Experience supporting both Windows and macOS environments
- Previous experience within an MSP or external IT provider (advantageous)
- Must hold Australian permanent residency or citizenship
