About the role

We are currently looking for a passionate and skilled ICT Support Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will work within a small and experienced team to provide essential IT support and troubleshooting across Clients spanning a vide variety of Industries.

Key Responsibilities

Provide Level 1 and Level 2, with some Level 3 technical support to clients across Australia.

Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues on Windows, Mac, and mobile platforms.

Manage user accounts, permissions, and security in Active Directory, Office 365, and other enterprise platforms.

Install, configure, and maintain ICT equipment (PCs, laptops, printers, mobile devices).

Support video conferencing and collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams).

Document processes, technical issues, and solutions in the ticketing system.

Analyse and review systems and data, perform systems architecture reviews and recommend hardware and software strategies.

Liase with customers to ensure adherence to standards and procedures.

Assist with system upgrades, rollouts, and IT projects.

Ensure compliance with internal IT policies and data security standards.

Create and review technical documentation.

Skills & Experience

At least 2 years’ experience in a Level 2+ generalist role in an MSP combined with a bachelor’s or master’s degree, OR at least 5 years of relevant experience and relevant vendor certification.

Strong working knowledge of Windows 11, Server 2016 and above, Office 365 applications, and basic networking.

Strong working knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange, and Microsoft Intune or Endpoint Manager.

Competent with Network configuration and troubleshooting.

Competent with Backups and Data Protection.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A strong customer service mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Valid Driver’s Licence and work safe vehicle for occasional Onsite Client visit

Bonus points for:

Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft M365 Fundamentals, or ITIL.

Experience supporting cloud-based environments (e.g., Azure, AWS).

Exposure to cybersecurity practices or IT compliance standards.
