Job description:

Working closely with the Head of Intellectual Property, you will provide essential administrative support across IP management, financial and statistical reporting, and contract administration. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain in-house experience in a fast-paced environment focused on child health and commercialisation.

Your responsibilities include:

• Manage and maintain our Inteum IP database, ensuring all patent, trademark, and contract information is accurate and up-to-date
• Support patent prosecution processes, including invention disclosures, deadline monitoring, and correspondence
• Assist with trademark applications and renewals, liaising with external attorneys and managing international filings
• Oversee the IP inbox and assist with task coordination and communications across the organisation
• Handle budgeting, invoice tracking, and commercial income reporting related to IP activities
• Generate detailed reports on patent portfolios and commercial income for internal teams

What we're looking for

• Strong communication skills and excellent attention to detail
• Proficiency in database management and software applications
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Analytical mindset with strong research and problem-solving skills

Desirable skills

• Science degree or equivalent
• Understanding of patent systems and IP protection processes
• Familiarity with IP and contract databases like Inteum, Inprotech, or LEX
