Your opportunity
Join the Student Administration Services team at Southern Cross University and support our student lifecycle from admission through to graduation. As a Student Administration Officer within the Course Implementation and Publications team, you’ll play an important role in maintaining accurate course and unit data, coordinating and implementing curriculum approvals, and supporting course teach-out activities to ensure our systems and communications are clear, compliant, and student-focused.
You will make an impact by:
- Providing advice to staff on courses, policies and systems;
- Administering student and curriculum data into our systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Undertake general administrative duties including data entry and the preparation of correspondence; and
- Work productively in a team environment and share knowledge to support the resolution of student and staff enquires
What you will bring
You are passionate about providing excellent service to university students, with strong verbal and written communication skills. To succeed in this role, you will also need:
- A relevant tertiary qualification and a minimum two (2) years of applicable experience in a student administration, customer service, government, or other high-volume administrative environments.
- Strong time management skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise initiative.
- An ability to interpret and apply policy, procedures and guidelines.
- Strong computer literacy, including experience with databases, and Microsoft applications. Experience with student administration systems is desirable.

Your opportunity is:
- Full-time, continuing (permanent)
- Located at Lismore, NSW 2480
- HEW Level 4. The base salary ranges from $75,500 - $81,079 per annum, plus 17% employer’s contribution to superannuation. The total remuneration package is up to $94,862.
