Dental Assistant/Receptionist Job

We are looking for a dental assistant/receptionist who is energetic and hardworking to join our team. The full-time role would include a mixture of assisting and reception. We can offer full-time or part-time work on a permanent or casual basis.

About us

We are a family-owned and operated dental practice, located in a beautifully restored heritage listed building in Taringa (Brisbane). We have 4 general dentists and 3 visiting specialists. We are growing in size and need a new dental assistant/receptionist to join our team. We value teamwork, attention to detail and a sense of humour.

Qualifications & experience

At least 1 year dental assisting experience preferred

Certificate 3 in Dental Assisting is highly regarded but not necessary

Experience with Exact dental software is an advantage

Tasks & responsibilities

Answer phones and make appointments

Check patients in and out and process EFTPOS and healthfund payments

Carry out infection control procedures within the sterilisation bay and dental surgery

Assist dentists during dental procedures with four-handed dentistry

Carry out routine maintenance on dental equipment

Assist with front desk duties such as answering clinic phones and taking payments
