DENTAL ASSISTANT or RECEPTIONIST- Part or Full Time

We are seeking a hardworking, reliable team player to join our Dental team. Although experience is a bonus, for any enthusiastic and passionate newcomer to the dental industry, we can provide excellent on-board training and support as well as early career progression opportunities within the role.

About Us

We are a busy, family owned, 3 surgery Dental practice that offers exceptional and honest family dental treatment. We are well established in the local community and have been in operations since 2008. We pride ourselves on a relaxed working environment that enables us to guarantee our patients are treated individually with care and empathy.

About the Role:

Permanent part-time or full-time position available (34-38hrs)

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to chair-side assisting, sterilisation and reception duties

The role could be designed for someone either suited to a predominant chairside assisting or reception role

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Part-time or full-time availability Monday to Friday (ideally not studying or planning on studies that interfere with their work schedule)

Live within a 5-10km radius of the practice

Proven dental assistant experience (desired) however passionate newcomers welcome to apply

Confidence and strong communication skills, with an outgoing personality

Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively within a fast-paced environment

A mature, reliable, and honest work ethic

A team-oriented mindset, thriving in a close-knit group

A polished, professional appearance

Excellent interpersonal skills, with reception experience being a bonus

EXACT, HICAPS and Medicare/DVA software knowledge (desirable but not essential)

The practice is nestled in the leafy suburbs of Balmoral and provides easy access to the city and public transport.

While experience or a background in dental care is preferred, it is not essential, and training and support will be provided.

Staff are paid above award rates and annual performance appraisals are routinely conducted.
