About the role
Part-time role 3 or 4 days with a January 2026 start
We’re seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our People Experience team. This is a newly created role where you will join our PX team of five people.
You’ll play a key role in managing the full recruitment lifecycle for open roles across BGL globally, from crafting inclusive job ads and sourcing candidates to onboarding successful hires. In this hands-on position, you’ll partner closely with hiring managers, shape our employer brand, and play an active part in broader HR initiatives.

About you
You are an engaging communicator, a problem solver, and have 3–5 years’ experience in talent acquisition or recruitment. You build relationships easily and love delivering a great experience for our candidates and hiring managers.
You will stand out if you have:
Demonstrated end-to-end recruitment experience (job posting, sourcing, interviewing, offers, onboarding)
Exposure to diverse sourcing strategies, including headhunting passive candidates and building talent pools
Strong stakeholder management skills and experience providing hiring advice
Experience using an ATS and are tech-savvy with new recruitment tools
Knowledge of employment and recruitment compliance requirements
HR Generalist experience
Track record of learning and professional development (formal degree not essential)
What you'll be doing
Manage the entire recruitment process: job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offers, and onboarding for roles across Australia, Philippines, and our global offices
Partner with hiring managers to understand business needs, write job descriptions, and provide recruitment solutions
Source and engage top talent using creative channels, including headhunting passive candidates and nurturing talent pipelines
Implement and optimise recruitment software (ATS) and assist with workflow improvements and integration projects
Provide advice on market trends, competitor insights, and salary benchmarking
Contribute to workforce planning, HR generalist initiatives, and operational excellence by supporting broader People Experience projects and compliance
Continuously enhance your recruitment knowledge through learning and development
