Coffey Engineering Group are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist/Setter to join our team at AGM Engineering in Emu Plains, NSW. This full-time position is key to our sustained growth and involves operating and setting up CNC machines to produce high-quality parts and components for our diverse range of engineering projects.

Great hourly rate based on experience, with regular overtime available.

What You'll Be Doing

Set up and operate a variety of CNC machines, including lathes and mills, to produce parts to tight tolerances and specifications.

Perform routine maintenance and adjustments on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.

Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet strict quality standards.

Work proactively and collaboratively with the wider engineering team to identify process improvements and solve complex manufacturing challenges.

What We're Looking For

Completion of Certificate III in Engineering Mechanical trade or equivalent.

Proven experience in all facets of CNC Machine operations (lathes and mills).

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve machine issues.

High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Ability to work effectively and proactively in a busy, team-focused environment.
