About the role

As a Fitter with machining, at Brain Industries you will play a crucial role in the maintenance and repair of pneumatic pump and pulley systems and equipment. This full-time position is based in Carrington, NSW 2294 and offers the opportunity to work with a leading provider of specialised products to the mining and industrial sectors.

What you'll be doing

Diagnose and repair faults in systems and equipment

Perform routine maintenance and servicing of a range of components

Interpret technical drawings and schematics to identify and resolve issues

Collaborate with the engineering team to implement improvements and optimise system performance

Maintain accurate records of work undertaken and parts used

Ensure adherence to all health, safety, employment, and environmental policies and procedures

What we're looking for

Preferred: formal trade qualifications as a Fitter, Machinist or equivalent

Extensive experience in the maintenance and repair of mining systems and equipment

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics

Proven excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship

Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

Knowledge of relevant health, safety, employment and environmental regulations
