About the role:

• Analyse transactions and prepare monthly financial and dashboard reports
• Develop budgets and forecasts in collaboration with senior leaders
• Deliver month-end reporting and performance commentary
• Design, build, and maintain comprehensive costing models
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial processes and controls

About you:

You are a confident communicator with deep financial expertise and a solutions-focused mindset.

• Strong knowledge of financial management, budgeting, and accounting principles
• Experience in business partnering and performance reporting
• Familiarity with the Government Sector Finance Act and Australian Accounting Standards
• Advanced Excel skills; Power BI, SAP or MyWorkzone experience desirable
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment
