Due to our growth in the market, we now want to have an experienced and professional Operations Supervisor join us to work in the Operations Department based in Maddington, Western Australia. This permanent full-time position is a significant part of the team and reports to the State Manager.

What are the main responsibilities of this role?

Provide support to our operational staff to assist them to deliver service to the highest standard and to therefore ensure service levels exceed clients’ expectations

Play a leadership role in driving efficiencies

Drive employee performance in the key areas of plant maintenance procedures, work practises and benchmarks

Cultivate relationships with new and existing customers

Manage key administrative functions, including contracts and agreements, customer quotations and proposals

Operate a sweeper on a needs basis

Monitor and demonstrate Work Health & Safety practises

What do I need to be successful in this role?

Be an experienced supervisor with leadership qualities in an operational environment (minimum 2 years)

Be ‘hands on’ with a demonstrated mechanical aptitude

Have proficient computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel

Possess a strong work ethic and customer focus with ability to guide your team to required standards and measurements

Enjoy working in a team environment

Possess strong time management and prioritising skills

Bring excellent presentation and interpersonal and communication skills

Operate with a solution-based approach with a sense of flexibility

Have a MR Licence and a Construction Industry White Card

Pass a pre-employment medical assessment, drug and alcohol test
