About the role

As the Patio Operations Supervisor at Perth Better Outdoors', you will play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient and effective delivery of residential patio construction and installation services. Working in a full-time capacity, you will be responsible for leading a team of skilled tradespeople and ensuring all patio projects are completed to the highest quality standards. This supervisory position is based in our Forrestdale, WA office, with job sites from Perth to Mandurah,

What you'll be doing

You’ll need to manage each job from start to finish, including site checks, designing and ordering materials, scheduling and overseeing installation teams, and completing final checks before handover. You’ll also handle designing and pricing any additional works or upgrades clients request after the initial sale.

Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, safety regulations and company policies

Liaise with clients to understand their needs and manage their expectations throughout the project lifecycle

Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement streamlined operational practices

Maintain detailed records and provide regular progress reports to management

Foster a positive, collaborative work environment and promote a culture of continuous learning and development

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years' experience in a supervisory role within the building/construction industry, preferably in the residential patio sector

Strong background in all aspects of patio design, both Stratco Outback and RHS construction and installation

Excellent project management, problem-solving and decision-making skills

Ability to lead, motivate and develop a team of skilled tradespeople

Proven track record of delivering high-quality work and exceeding customer expectations

Thorough understanding of relevant building codes, safety regulations and quality standards

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients and other team members

Proficient in the use of relevant project management and reporting tools
