Our client, an independent Federal agency responsible for organising and supervising Australian elections, is seeking an experienced .NET Developer to work with their project team to uplift existing code, deliver enhancements and improvements, and drive innovation in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Duties of the .NET Developer

• Participate in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to develop and enhance a C# based, n-tier, enterprise software and associated documentation in accordance with organisations Standards;
• Develop automated application build and deployment scripts using the .NET environment (.NET Core), and additional Microsoft technology stack;
• Follow the Agile Methodology for software development using tools such as Azure DevOps;
• May be required to supervise a team to ensure high quality outputs, including the development of team members at lower classifications, building team capacity, and encouraging career development;
• Develop and support key internal and external relationships, including managing stakeholders to achieve work area and agency goals and represent the agency by promoting its interests in various forums.

Skills and Experience Required

• Experience participating in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to develop and enhance C#-based, n-tier enterprise software and associated documentation;
• Proficiency in developing automated application build and deployment scripts using the .NET environment (.NET Core) and the Microsoft technology stack;
• Hands-on experience following Agile software development methodologies using tools such as Azure DevOps;
• Experience developing and managing internal and external relationships, including stakeholder management to achieve organisational goals;
• Flexibility to perform additional responsibilities as required or directed by leadership.
