Garfield Pizzeria is opening soon — a new addition to the King & Godfree building and part of the revival of this iconic Carlton corner. Fast, modern and proudly Italian in its own way: grounded in craft, shaped by culture and driven by people who care about doing things properly.

We’re after a Floor Manager with strong hospitality instincts, confidence, warmth and energy to lead the room when the pace hits top gear. You’ll run shifts, guide the team, manage operations and help create a place that feels alive.

What You’ll Do
Run daily floor operations across dine-in, counter and delivery
Lead and motivate FOH, bar and runners for smooth service
Manage rosters, training and recruitment within labour budgets
Oversee stock, ordering, suppliers and cash handling
Work with the Head Chef and leadership team to uphold food and service standards
Build community — make locals feel recognised and welcome
Create a fun, respectful environment where your team loves to work
Stay cool under pressure and thrive in a high-volume setting

What You’ll Bring
Experience as supervisor, shift leader or assistant manager
Confidence leading 10–15 people with calm, clear communication
Genuine care for guests and team
Composure at speed, sharp timing and attention to detail
Organised approach to stock, rosters and service
