Charleston Hotel – we are a busy little country hotel located in the Adelaide Hills. We are looking for an additional chef to join our team.

We are seeking a chef (Cook grade 4 wage level 5)

Part-time minimum 20 hours per week with additional hours during busier times.

We are looking for candidates with:

A demonstrated passion and discipline for serving quality and simply delicious food

Formal trade qualifications in commercial cooking or equivalent

Minimum 1 years of a la carte kitchen experience

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high standards

Ability to cook independently in the kitchen

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to respectfully provide direction to kitchen staff

Experience in prep work, deep frying, functions, grill, pan work and cold larder.

A high emphasis on food hygiene

Reliable means of transport.

Ability to work over a 7-day roster – some days and nights
