About the role:

Operating within Speech Pathology (Melbourne), the Lecturer in Speech Pathology is expected to contribute to the development and implementation of the Bachelor of Speech Pathology at Australian Catholic University by providing theoretical and clinical teaching and research. The position holder will consult with the Head of School and Assistant Deputy/Deputy Head of School of Allied Health, National Head of Discipline, Course Coordinators of Speech Pathology and other staff as required, ensuring that the delivery of the Speech Pathology curriculum is comprehensively managed and delivered. This is achieved by:

Coordinating professional practice/clinical components of the undergraduate program at a local level

Teaching at undergraduate level across discipline areas

Undertaking assessment of students using welldesigned tasks aligned with the expected learning outcomes and providing students with opportunities for consultation and feedback; and

Contributing to curriculum design.

Total remuneration valued to $142,635 - $168,220 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $120,529 - $142,305 (pro rata) pa (Academic Level B), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.

17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.

Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
