Position: Embedded Network Billing Specialist

Salary: $77,000 - $85,000

Position Overview:

As an Embedded Network Billing Specialist, you’ll play a vital role in managing the billing lifecycle across Energy Trade’s CEN and embedded network customers. You’ll ensure data integrity, perform reconciliations, manage payments, and support customers and internal teams to achieve seamless billing outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute and manage end-to-end billing processes accurately and within deadlines.

Validate and maintain metering data to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Perform gate-meter reconciliations and maintain alignment of data across systems.

Conduct payment and receipt reconciliations, resolving variances promptly.

Manage and review billing for HVAC, Cold Water Recovery, Electricity, and Water to ensure completeness and compliance.

Handle escalated customer inquiries and disputes, delivering timely and professional resolutions.

Manage site-specific activities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain billing integrity and resolve issues.

Contribute to continuous improvement in billing workflows and data management.

About You:

You’re analytical, precise, and thrive on problem-solving. You understand the importance of accuracy in billing and have a strong grasp of embedded network operations.

To be successful in this role, you must have experience in and an understanding of:

Gate-meter reconciliations

At least one year full time experience

Payment and receipt reconciliations

Billing of HVAC, Cold Water Recovery, Electricity, and Water

Additionally, you’ll bring:

Experience in the embedded network sector.

Proven experience with Meter Data Providers.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.

Proficiency with MS Office, Metabase, Utilmate, Airtable, and Jira Service Management.

Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field (preferred).

Knowledge of energy market regulations and compliance standards.
