Job Title: Parts Operation Coordinator
Reports to: National Aftersales Manager
Key Responsibilities:
1. Warehouse Management & Inventory Control:
Manage the daily operations of the national parts warehouse, including receiving, storing, and dispatching parts.
Maintain optimal stock levels through regular cycle counts, stock takes, and inventory reconciliation.
Ensure the warehouse is organized, clean, and complies with health and safety standards.
Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts (forklift license required).
2. Sales Order Processing:
Process and fulfill parts sales orders accurately and in a timely manner.
Coordinate with internal teams and external customers to ensure on-time delivery of parts.
Handle order inquiries, backorders, and returns efficiently.
3. Parts Logistics & Distribution:
Coordinate domestic logistics arrangements for parts dispatched from the national parts centre to dealers or customers across Australia.
Liaise with local freight providers to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of parts.
4. Customer Service & Support:
Provide professional and responsive support to dealers and internal stakeholders regarding parts availability, pricing, and delivery.
Assist in handling parts-related customer inquiries and complaints under the guidance of the Aftersales Manager.
5. Administrative & Reporting Duties:
Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, order history, and stock levels.
Assist in preparing regular reports on parts sales, inventory status, and warehouse performance.
Support the implementation of parts promotions and pricing strategies.
Qualifications & Experience:
Previous experience in a parts warehouse, inventory management, or a similar role within the automotive or heavy vehicle industry.
Valid forklift license is highly desirable.
Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team and under minimal supervision.
