Donor Services Officer | Part time 3 days | NSW Government
- Up to $80 p/h + super
- Part time role – 3 days per week
- Centennial Park / WFH
- 12 month contract w/ extensions
Primary Purpose of the Role:
The Donor Services Officer provides vital administrative support for the organisation’s fundraising, donor relations, and finance functions. This role ensures smooth delivery of business activities through efficient coordination, accurate record keeping, and professional engagement with donors and suppliers.
Key Accountabilities
- Act as the first point of contact for supporter enquiries, providing timely and accurate responses, and making outbound calls to thank donors for their support.
- Process incoming donations through multiple channels, ensuring prompt and accurate data entry and receipting.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date donor records, handle data imports and exports, and support data management processes.
- Coordinate the Dedications Program to meet fundraising objectives, including following up enquiries, liaising with donors, and coordinating manufacturing and installation.
- Support finance administration, including issuing invoices and receipts, tracking income and expenditure, and ensuring accurate reporting and compliance.
- Organise annual grant distributions, applications and acquittals for the Legacy Fund.
- Undertake analysis and reporting on fundraising initiatives and campaigns for board reporting.
Essential Requirements
- Experience in an administrative or donor services role, ideally within a fundraising or not-for-profit environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial processing, record keeping, and written communication.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a professional and courteous approach when liaising with donors, suppliers, and contractors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/database systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small team, exercising initiative and sound judgement.
