Our public sector client is seeking an experienced Industrial and Employee Relations Advisor to join their team.

• Location: Eastern suburbs of Melbourne
• Work arrangement: Hybrid – 2–3 days in office, 2–3 days WFH
• Contract: Short-term (3 months) with potential for a slight extension
• Pay: $82 per hour plus super

Your Role

• Assist with submission of Enterprise Bargaining Agreement
• Support Head of Workplace Relations with submission and implementation phases
• Handle minimal broader IR/ER duties and assist with small projects (e.g. redeployment, restructures)

What We’re Looking For

• Proven IR/ER experience within Victorian Public Sector, especially enterprise agreement submissions
• Solid knowledge of Victorian Government Wages Policy and VPS framework
• Ability to work independently and hit the ground running with minimal supervision
• Skilled in liaising with unions and managing complex industrial relations issues
• Strong attention to detail and deadline-driven mindset

Team Environment

• Report directly to Head of Workplace Relations (busy and dynamic role)
• Collaborate closely with People & Culture team
• Join a small, focused Workplace Relations team
