The Role

A State Government department is seeking a HR Advisor (VPS4) to deliver people and culture initiatives that build workforce capability, engagement and performance. The role supports the implementation of HR strategies within a reform-driven environment, providing guidance on people policies, workforce planning, and development activities. This is a 12 month contract with a potential to extend.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR advice across performance, development, and workforce planning.
• Support delivery of capability, wellbeing, and reform-aligned initiatives.
• Contribute to policy and process improvement across HR functions.
• Collaborate with managers to resolve people-related issues and drive engagement.

About You

• Tertiary qualification in HR, Business, or a related field.
• Experience providing HR or people advisory support within a complex organisation.
• Strong knowledge of VPS or public sector frameworks desirable.
• Excellent communication, relationship management, and problem-solving skills.
