We are looking for an experienced and friendly Practice Nurse (Registered) to join our team on a full-time basis (38 hrs per week). We offer a friendly and professional work environment in a privately owned medical practice in Hocking (north of the river).

Working hours - Monday to Friday (8.00 am to 4.00 pm)

If you can explain your great work ethics, quality patient care and experience within a treatment room environment we are keen to hear from you.

Essential criteria:

Experience and a good understanding of the general practice and treatment room environment

Current AHPRA registration

Excellent communication skills with a friendly and professional manner

Good organising and time management skills

Able to nurse administrative work and attention to detail

Current CPR certification

Eligibility to work in Australia

Current Immunisation certificate.

Computer literate and knowledge of Best Practice software advantage

Minimum 1 year experience as a RN in a similar roll essential

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting doctors with minor surgical procedures

Maintaining patient records and effectively manage the recall process

Preparation of Chronic Disease Management plans, including diabetic care and Health Assessments

Infection control

Immunisations

Managing, ordering of disposable items
