Privately owned medical practice opposite Belmont Forum is seeking an experienced Practice Nurse.

Hours:

Wednesday and Friday 8:30am - 6:00pm

Plus additional Relief Hours in negotiation

The successful applicant will enjoy an extensive paid orientation period and will work alongside two or three practice nurses on shift at the same time in a supportive work environment.

Fulham GP is not open Sunday's or public holidays.

The practice has excellent facilities including a well equipped treatment, procedural & emergency rooms along with free parking.

Fulham GP won RACGP WA Practice of the Year in 2020 and supports Notre Dame University medical students and the RACGP Registrar training program.

About The Role

A rewarding position for a Practice Nurse has become available within the team. Fulham GP is an accredited, modern and fully computerised surgery that supports a family friendly work environment and prides itself on offering best practice medicine to support the community in their health needs.

The successful candidate will enjoy five weeks' annual leave and subsidies towards professional development and a uniform.

Nursing duties include:

Wound care

Adult and child vaccinations

Comprehensive health assessments and care plans

Assisting experienced GP's with minor surgeries

Maintaining accurate health records

Iron infusions

Recalls and reminders of test results and appointments

ECG's

Ordering stores and vaccines

Autoclaving and sterilisation

Mandatory Criteria:

Ability to work the minimum hours listed in the advert (Wednesday and Friday).

Must have a minimum of 1-2 years GP practice nursing experience.

Current unrestricted Australian Certificate of Nursing Registration.

Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
