About the Role:
At Extra Mile Health, we’re looking for passionate, proactive, and client-focused Mobile Physiotherapists to join our growing team in the South / East Metro Region.
This role is all about empowering people with disabilities to live more independently and achieve their personal goals through high-quality physiotherapy delivered in the home, community, and supported accommodation settings.
You’ll work across Perth Metro as part of a team that goes the extra mile, one person at a time – driven by empathy, excellence, and a commitment to exceeding expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Comprehensive Physiotherapy Assessment & Treatment:
Conduct in-home and community-based assessments and develop tailored treatment plans focused on mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence.
Goal-Oriented Therapy:
Support clients to achieve NDIS goals through evidence-based interventions, functional training, and ongoing progress reviews.
Collaborative Care:
Work closely with therapy assistants, support workers, and families to ensure therapy is implemented consistently and effectively.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain detailed clinical notes, progress reports, and NDIS documentation in line with compliance standards.
Education & Empowerment:
Train clients, therapy assistants, carers, and support staff in safe manual handling techniques, exercise programs, and equipment use.
Community Mobility & Access:
Assist clients in developing confidence and independence in real-world settings like parks, gyms, and public spaces.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Bachelor of Physiotherapy (or equivalent) and current AHPRA registration.
Rights to work in Australia
Valid Australian driver’s licence
NDIS Worker Screening Check (current and valid)
National Police Clearance (obtained within the last six months)
Current Working with Children check.
Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
Solution-focused with the ability to create engaging interventions
Capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment
Desirable Attributes
Experience working within the NDIS, aged care or disability sector.
Familiarity with assistive technology and functional capacity assessments.
Interest in mentoring therapy assistants and contributing to service development.
A growth mindset and dedication to ongoing professional development.
Support & Training Provided

Salary Information
Full-Time: AUD $80,000 – $90,000 annually (excluding superannuation), based on experience and qualifications.
Part-Time: Pro-rata based on full-time equivalent salary.
Company Vehicle: Full-time physiotherapists are provided with a company vehicle for work use.
Travel-time and mileage covered for part-time and using their own vehicle.
