Applicants need to be available for face-to-face classes, Monday to Friday, from 8am to 6pm, and should be flexible to teach some mornings and some afternoons across the week. We offer General English classes but also specialise in EAP classes.

We offer casual contracts consisting of 20 contact teaching hours a week, with the salary determined by the applicant’s qualifications and ELT experience (adults & children). The contract will be subject to the provisions of the Educational Services (Post-Secondary Education) Award 2020. There are roles available for an immediate start.

Requirements

Recognised English language teaching qualification (e.g. CELTA, CertTESOL or higher)

A recognised degree or diploma (minimum of 3 years)

Minimum 1 year of experience teaching Cambridge Exam Preparation (CAE/FCE) and EAP courses

Strong understanding of exam strategies and academic writing/skills development

Excellent communication and classroom management skills

A positive, professional, and collaborative attitude

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver high-quality lessons for Cambridge Exam Preparation (CAE/FCE) and EAP classes

Provide effective feedback and guidance to help students improve their academic and exam performance

Contribute to curriculum development and assessment design where appropriate

Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance

Participate in teacher meetings, workshops, and professional development sessions
