About the Role

We are currently looking for a Senior Estimator to join our growing team.

Reporting to the Sales Director, this position will be responsible for preparing accurate estimates, cost models, and proposals for electrical and data infrastructure projects across a wide range of sectors.

Key duties will include:

• Preparing detailed estimates, take-offs and quotations for electrical, copper and fibre data infrastructure projects.
  
• Supporting the sales and project management teams with cost modelling and tender pricing.
  
• Engaging with vendors, distributors and subcontractors for material pricing and scope validation.
  
• Assisting with bid submissions, tender documents and client presentations.
  
• Maintaining up-to-date pricing databases and estimating templates.
  
• Participating in pre-bid meetings, client scoping sessions and technical reviews.
  
• Occasional interstate travel and attendance at industry networking events.
  

Requirements

We are seeking a candidate who:

• Has significant experience in estimating within a commercial electrical or data infrastructure environment.
  
• Is proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Visio, with strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills.
  
• Has experience using SimPro or similar estimating / project management software (preferred)
  
• Understands commercial electrical, copper and fibre data systems (AV experience advantageous but not essential).
  
• Has strong communication and stakeholder management skills, and works effectively with sales, project and vendor partners.
  
• Is self-motivated, professional and adaptable to a fast-growing, dynamic business environment.
