Qualifications & experience

Familiarity with construction industry (preferably cladding and external facades) and reading architectural plans

Strong ability to use a computer with experience in Adobe Acrobat and Excel take-offs, also to a lesser extent Adobe Illustrator/Autocad or ability to learn

Great communication skills and a can-do attitude

Ability to work in well with the management team to meet deadlines and complete objectives successfully

Appetite to learn and understand the businesses services in order to assist with estimating and pricing jobs effectively as well as assisting with live projects

Tasks & responsibilities

Analysing documents thoroughly and performing in-depth quantity take-offs for formulating proposals using Adobe Acrobat

Liaising with clients during tender and live job process

Ability to use or learn the use of Adobe Illustrator and develop proposal templates, highlighted mark-ups and drawing adjustment

Attending meetings with clients to discuss projects prior to pricing

Working in with management team to generate proposals for projects

Placing orders and following up with suppliers

Speaking to multiple suppliers to get cost-effective prices

Ability to act as an all-rounder and assist general necessary tasks
