Bookkeeping & Clerical Administration Officer (Part-Time)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeping & Clerical Administration Officer to manage key financial and administrative functions within our growing business.
This is a part-time, on-site role based in Mount Duneed. You’ll work independently while supporting the owners in running a busy operation. The role offers 16–22 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours during peak seasonal periods or as the business continues to expand. Fridays are essential, with flexibility for other working days.
Key Responsibilities
Bookkeeping for a diverse range of clients and business functions using MYOB
Performing bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records
Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Processing weekly payroll for 15+ employees, including Super Guarantee compliance
Preparing and lodging Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS), both monthly and quarterly
Performing accurate and timely data entry of financial transactions
Managing invoicing, receipts, and expense reporting
Handling general administrative duties to support business operations
Communicating effectively with business owners and providing regular financial updates
Key Skills & Attributes
Proven experience in bookkeeping and administrative roles
Proficiency in MYOB and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data management
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Professional communication skills and a proactive approach
