The Role

We are seeking a Senior Bookkeeper and Registered BAS agent to join our amazing team, at our new Gold Coast office location.

The key objectives include:

Bank Reconciliations, Aged Payable and Receivable, Payroll, Superannuation, ATO Compliance, Cashflow Forecasting and Reporting

Proactive client communication and file management

General office administration tasks such as invoicing, filing, and answering phones as required

Contributing to team meetings and sharing ideas

You will be a collaborative bookkeeper, who thrives on managing complex and varied bookkeeping responsibilities, completing tasks and being part of a fun, positive high performance team.

You will have

Certificate IV in Bookkeeping

BAS Agent registration

A high level of competency with Microsoft Office suite particularly Excel

An affinity for technology

A great sense of humour!!

Strong teamwork focus

Your strong verbal and written communication skills will build trust and rapport with clients and teammates. You will embrace our app stack and be keen to trial new technologies that automate mundane tasks so that we can spend more time providing friendly personalised service to clients.

At Go Figured we rescue businesses from bookkeeping and administration burdens and we have fun doing it! Our standards are extremely high which is why our clients (and their accountants) love us so much.

Our commercial bookkeeping team is 100% local and proudly based in our fresh, open-plan office in Spring Hill. As we continue to grow, we're excited to expand our footprint and begin bookkeeping beachside, with the launch of our new Gold Coast office.

Established in 2001, Go Figured has a wide variety of interesting clients including the film and television industry, creative agencies, architects, law firms, start ups and construction companies. Our mission is to relieve the pressure of financial record keeping and reporting for small and medium-sized businesses. We work alongside our clients in a support role or managing their entire bookkeeping, payroll and administration functions.

We're a proud Xero practice, but we work across a wide range of platforms—so experience with MYOB, QuickBooks, or other accounting software is highly regarded.

The Team

We are an eclectic team including a tennis champion, a chorale singer, a margarita master, scout leader, techy extraordinaire, D&D player, baker and barista sista. Many of us are working parents too, and while we are working at Go Figured we are extraordinary bookkeepers.

As a close knit, cohesive crew, our team culture is something we are very proud of. We are passionate about sharing ideas, and our team is empowered to make a difference to small and medium business owners. We take our work very seriously, but we have fun and love what we do.

The annual salary is negotiable, commensurate with experience.
