Irrigation Technician
Salary: $72,053 per annum ($1,385 per week)
Plus up to 15% superannuation (conditions apply)
Permanent Full Time (9-day fortnight)
Free onsite parking

The City is seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our dynamic Park Operations team. As an Irrigation Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems across the City’s parks, gardens, streetscapes, and Capital Works projects. You will also provide expert irrigation advice and excellent customer service to staff, residents, and ratepayers.
To be successful in this role, you will have at least two years of experience in irrigation installation and maintenance, along with sound knowledge of irrigation electrical components and controller equipment.
The ability to safely and competently operate an excavator is essential.
To be considered for this role, applicants must hold or willing to obtain the following:
WA “MR” Class Driver’s Licence (required).
Construction Safety Induction Card (White Card) (required).
Current First Aid Certificate including CPR (HLTAID011 and HLTAID009) (willing to obtain).
Basic Worksite Traffic Management and Traffic Control Certificates (willing to obtain).
Relevant leadership qualifications and/or demonstrated relevant experience (required).
