What You’ll Be Doing

  • Operate plant and equipment in natural areas
  • Perform bushland and wetland maintenance tasks
  • Apply herbicides and pesticides safely
  • Assist with Landcare and Bushcare activities
  • Complete site records and plant checks
  • Attend toolbox meetings and safety briefings
  • Maintain high environmental standards

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for a field technician with a passion for conservation and practical skills in natural area management. You’ll ideally bring:

  • Cert III in Conservation or Environmental Science
  • Experience in bushland and weed management
  • Knowledge of native plants and ecosystems
  • Safe operation of tools and minor plant
  • Understanding of safety and maintenance procedures
  • Ability to use maps and GPS for vegetation work
  • National Police Clearance (under 3 months)
  • C Class Driver’s Licence (desirable)
