About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced Labourer who can machine operate to join our team and support site preparation and construction activities across multiple residential projects. The role involves operating a range of plant equipment including skid steer loaders, small excavators, and Manitou telehandlers.

You’ll work closely with our site supervisors and trades to ensure our projects are built efficiently, safely, and to specification.

Key Responsibilities

· Operate skid steer, excavator (up to 5T), and Manitou plant safely and efficiently

· Carry out bulk and detailed earthworks, trenching, and site cuts

· Assist with site set-out, clean-up, and material handling

· Conduct basic maintenance and daily checks on machinery

· Work collaboratively with site teams to meet project schedules

· Uphold WHS standards and safe operating procedures on all sites

Skills and Experience

· Minimum 2 years’ experience in machine operation within residential or civil construction

· Current tickets/licences for relevant plant (skid steer, excavator, Manitou)

· White Card (construction induction)

· Strong awareness of site safety and maintenance practices

· Reliable and self-motivated with attention to detail

· Manual driver’s licence required
