About the role

Construct Personnel is seeking experienced Plant and Machine Operators to join our team on a casual basis in the South Eastern Suburbs. As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in the efficient and safe operation of a variety of civil construction machines contributing to the successful delivery of major construction projects.

What you'll be doing

Operate and maintain a range of construction plant and machinery, including Excavators, Loaders, Moxy's and Rollers.

Conduct pre-start checks and report any issues or maintenance requirements

Ensure the safe and efficient operation of equipment, adhering to all relevant safety protocols and procedures

Contribute to the completion of construction tasks and projects within agreed timelines and budgets

Work collaboratively with the wider construction team to support the successful delivery of projects

What we're looking for

Extensive experience operating a variety of construction plant and machinery, with a strong understanding of equipment capabilities and limitations. Final Trim and GPS operation highly regarded.

Minimum 3-5 years of experience operating construction plant and machinery is required.

Demonstrated ability to work safely and efficiently, with a keen focus on quality and attention to detail

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing job site conditions.

All required tickets and licences for operating the specified machinery are mandatory.

Australian Permanent Residency or Citizenship is required for this position.
