About the role

Join our dynamic team at smartstitches design and embroidery as a full-time Embroidery Machine Operator based in Moorabbin, Victoria. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for operating our state-of-the-art embroidery machines to create high-quality custom designs for our clients in the manufacturing, transport and logistics industries.

What you'll be doing

Set up and operate industrial embroidery machines to stitch designs on a variety of fabrics and materials

Perform quality checks on completed embroidery work to ensure it meets our high standards

Maintain and troubleshoot embroidery machines to keep them running efficiently

Follow production schedules and work collaboratively with the design and production teams

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance our embroidery capabilities

What we're looking for

At least 2 years of experience as an embroidery machine operator in a manufacturing or textile production environment

Strong technical skills and the ability to operate industrial embroidery machines with precision

Specific experience operating Barudan embroidery machines is required

A minimum of 1-2 years of hands-on experience operating Barudan embroidery machines is essential

Excellent attention to detail and quality-focused mindset

Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and patterns

Good communication skills and a collaborative approach to working in a team

Flexibility to work to tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities

Australian work rights are required for this position
