About the Role
We’re looking for a capable, dependable Demolition Leading Hand who’s ready to lead from the front. You’ll be the right hand of the supervisor - still on the tools, but taking responsibility for keeping the team productive, safe, and efficient.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out physical demolition work: strip outs, dismantling, plant and tool use
• Lead small task-based teams and provide clear guidance on methods and quality
• Keep an eye on safety, equipment, and site setup
• Mentor new or less experienced team members
• Assist the Class 1 Supervisor in delivering safe, well-run jobs
• Maintain clean, safe, and organised work areas
• Flag delays, hazards, or issues early to prevent disruption

Skills & Experience Required

• 2–3 years hands-on demolition experience
• White Card (mandatory)
• Confident operating tools, equipment, and machinery
• Strong understanding of safe work methods and PPE standards
• Reliable, physically fit, and able to work in demanding environments
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Valid driver’s licence and own transport
• Ability to pass medical and drug & alcohol screening
• Australian citizenship, residency, or unrestricted work rights
• High-risk licences - EWP, Forklift (desirable)
• Asbestos removal qualifications (CPCCDE3014, CPCCDE4008) (desirable)
• First Aid certificate (desirable)
• Previous mentoring or small crew leadership experience (desirable)
